Draper Animal Hospital is well-equipped to perform surgical procedures from spays and neuters to more complex emergency, orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries. Prior to surgery, each patient receives a thorough physical examination to identify existing medical conditions. We offer a full comprehensive laboratory to provide pre-anesthetic blood exam and evaluate the internal function of your pet. These tests not only give a more complete picture of your pet's health, but also allow us to tailor an anesthetic regime that is specific for your pet's needs.
We at Draper Animal Hospital believe safety is paramount to any anesthetic procedure. We provide intravenous fluids, blood pressure monitoring, EKG, constant technician monitoring, and pulse oximetry with all anesthetic procedures. Technicians are with the patient from initial induction until full recovery. This reduces the risk of anesthesia.
